hatte 2006 recht gute Erfolge beim Trampen in Italien.

Trampen ist verboten dort und ab und an wird man von der Polizei weggebeten. Mich hatten die an den Rastplätzen damals nicht beachtet bzw. die Polizei ist an mir vorbeigefahren.

Wartezeiten könnten etwas länger sein, aber auch nicht sonderlich. Hängt halt von deinem gutem Karma ab :) Auf jeden Fall machen, und zur Not auf halbem Wege einen Schlafplatz suchen.

PS: Das schreibt das Wiki (http://www.hitchwiki.org/Italy) zu Italien:

"Hitchhiking on the autostrada is not legal (there are big signs saying no autostop at all highway entries), but it is unclear even to Italians whether this extends to gas stations (area servizio) on the autostrada. It's probably just meant to stop people from walking on highways. An American that encountered police (polizia, who drive light blue cars) at an area servizio on the highway was simply warned not to walk on the autostrada and to stay at the station until finding a ride."
