Updated hitch-hike statistics programs
Hi all,
I've put a new version of my hitch-hike statistics programs on files
area of the hitching group Yahoo!
The file is called lift32bit.rar and as the name might suggest, the
programs are now 32-bit Windoze executables.
The archive contains the sources, executables (renamed to .ixi, to avoid
problems) and the .vpo files I use to compile them, if you want to do so
yourself, you will obviously have to change these to point to your
Virtual Pascal and lift-file directories.
FWIW, this is only a very quick and dirty conversion to 32-bit, I've
changed the original Turbo Pascal (without assembler) versions to
compile with VP, but there is still a hell of a lot inefficient 16-bit
code present. I'll look into this later, but I had to do the conversion
quickly as the old programs could no longer handle my 78 trips and
rather than going for a somewhat halfhearted approach of compiling them
to DPMI executables with BP7, I decided to go for full 32-bit versions.
Have fun with them,
Robert - VAK traveller of the year 2007/8 :)
